(89959) 2002 NT₇ (also written (89959) 2002 NT7) is a near-Earth object (NEO) with a diameter of 1.2 miles^[1] (2 kilometers) that became the first object observed by NASA's NEO program to be assigned a positive rating on the Palermo Technical Impact Hazard Scale, for a potential impact on February 1, 2019. Despite inflammatory press reports, the object had a "low probability" of impact, approximately one in a million.^[1]

Further observations of the object quickly re-rated the threat lower. As of July 25, 2002, the hazard rating on the Palermo scale had been lowered to -0.25. However, the discovery of an object with an initial Palermo hazard rating of 0.06^[2] was a historical event for the NEO observation program.

2002 NT₇ was removed from the Sentry Risk Table on August 1, 2002.^[3]

It is now known that on January 13, 2019 the asteroid will safely pass 0.4078 AU (61,010,000 km; 37,910,000 mi) from the Earth.^[4]

On January 30, 2020 the asteroid will pass 0.02718 AU (4,066,000 km; 2,527,000 mi) from 2 Pallas.^[5]

Inspired by the teams logo, the new Falcon Stadium will have a uniquely designed retractable roof. It features  eight triangular translucent panels that create the illusion of a bird's wings extended when opened. Surrounding the opening of the roof would be a halo video board that will enclose the playing surface, stretching from one of the 10 yard lines to the other and then curving around the end zones to complete the oval.

OSIRIS REx Olympic Solar Torch

The Paralympic torch relay will begin on 1 September. On its way to the Opening Ceremony in Rio de Janeiro on 7 September, the relay will visit five cities: Brasilia, Belem, Joinville, Natal and Sao Paulo.

OSIRIS-REx Mission & Trajectory Design

 The Touch-And-Go Sample Acquisition campaign lasts at least two months with two trial runs before the actual contact maneuver around July 2020.

The 2020 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXII Olympiad and commonly known as Tokyo 2020,^[2] is a major international multi-sport event due to be celebrated in the tradition of the Olympic Games as governed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The games are planned to be held from 24 July to 9 August 2020 in Tokyo.

2020 is set to be the biggest year yet for Mars exploration

The Mars 2020 rover is scheduled to launch in July, 2020.

That list of Mars missions launching in 2020 is long. It includes NASA’s Mars 2020 rover, the European Space Agency’s ExoMars 2020 rover and surface platform, China’s orbiter/lander/rover, the United Arab Emirates’ Hope orbiter and India’s Mars Orbiter Mission-2. In addition, SpaceX is planning its first Red Dragon Mars lander in 2020, having delayed the mission from 2018.
