Sochi passes flame to Pyeongchang
The Sochi 2014 torch is topped by a flame shaped like a comet, for ISON (C/2012 S1),

A small asteroid 2017 DR109 makes a flyby on Feb 24, 2018 (also the final day of the Phoenix Park), followed by closing ceremony on Feb 25 in the stadium built intentionally for the ceremonies only. "2018 Winter Olympics will be held at the Bokwang Phoenix Park (Mansion of the Benu) in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The events will be held between 10 and 24 February 2018." Then the flame is passed again. Almost a type of Bennu contact event highlighting the summer and thanksgiving 2018 rendezvous ....

SpaceX: Iridium-5 to launch in March
Iridium has contracted SpaceX to launch seventy-five of the Iridium-NEXT spacecraft via its Falcon 9 rocket. The first launches under this contract were conducted earlier this year: Falcon missions in January and June have deployed twenty satellites into orbit. Another launch is expected later this year, with three more in the opening months of next year bringing the constellation up to seventy satellites.
A further launch, currently scheduled for next March, will carry five additional Iridium spacecraft and the two GRACE Follow-On geodesy spacecraft for NASA and Germany’s DLR.

There is a 'Miracle Underground' rising via the Phoenix (Osiris) in 2018 and passing the torch to new horizons as represented by ignition.
The star sign representing the first consonant of the second syllable of the Korean alphabet for PyeongChang is engraved on the outside of the ignition hole to symbolise the Games’ vision for opening new horizons.
Osiris REx, Bennu, Isis impactor, seismic underworld of Mars, safe to say all the symbolism in place for the features on Bennu to follow the Egyptian theme?

Deep Impact targets possible 2020 asteroid flyby
Asteroid 163249 is pretty small, probably around 800 (plus or minus 400) meters across. That would make it the second-smallest minor planet to be visited by a spacecraft, between Itokawa and Hartley 2 in size -- but by the time Deep Impact gets to it, OSIRIS-REx will have visited a similar-sized one, 101955 (1999 RQ36) Deep Impact would approach the asteroid from its night side, seeing it at very high phase, which means the best science would happen on the way out, with the asteroid at lower phase of around 40 degrees. The encounter would happen while OSIRIS-REx is operating at asteroid 101955, a fun juxtaposition much like the dual comet encounters that happened with Hartley 2 and Tempel 1 two years ago. (163249): In 2011, NASA considered sending the unmanned spacecraft Deep Impact toward the asteroid with the aim of performing a flyby[2] in 2020.

- Deep Impact in October 2012 would finish targeting asteroid 2002 GT, setting up for a high-speed flyby in January 2020
-The Early Return option would require OSIRIS-REx to make a much larger Asteroid Departure of 935m/s on January 3, 2020 as compared to a 328m/s burn for the 2021 departure. Returning a full year ahead of the baseline schedule would allow for sample analysis to begin one year earlier than currently planned.

While the target can change based on launch date, the current planned target is 1991VG. It will be visible for astronomical observations from Earth in the July 2017-March 2018 timeframe, which will help refine its orbit ahead of the mission.
The symbolism of NASA's two NEAR mission so far are primarily "Phoenix" "underground" and all key dates have coincided with earth shaking. Next up is the launch of InSight in May 2018, Hayabusa rendezvous in June/July, and Osiris-REx/Bennu beginning in mid June during the world cup!
Geb was the Egyptian god of the Earth and later a member of the Ennead of Heliopolis. He had a viper around his head and was thus also considered the father of snakes. Geb and Nut together formed the permanent boundary between the primeval waters and the newly created world. The Egyptians believed that Geb was the third divine pharaoh, Shu before him and Osiris after, and the one who supported Horus' right to the throne.

Geb, as Earth, finalizes the four cosmic elements of creation (Atum = Fire, Shu = Air, Tefnut = Water). He lies at the origin of the organization of the element and of divine kingship on Earth. He is the first divine king.

Some Egyptologists (specifically Jan Bergman, Terence Duquesne or Richard H. Wilkinson) have stated that Geb was associated with a mythological divine creator goose who had laid a world egg from which the sun and/or the world had sprung.
The underworld lord bringing about creation will be a strong theme in 2018 as seen with the Russia World Cup between June-July 2018:

The image of the Great Bird (mdM Ine Narmon’, mdE Ine Narmun’) is the
most archaic in Mordvinian mythology where she acts as the creator of the

Three branches of the birch formed the tree-top, and three forks – its root.
The birch was found by the Great Bird (God’s messenger) – Ine Narmon’ (mdM),
who built a nest in the tree-top, laid three eggs, hatched them, and out came
the three sisters-deities.

Less known is the motif of the universal bird Ine Narmun’ (mdE
‘great bird’), who lays the world egg (mdE&M Ine al, mdM Oziu al).
The egg yolk turns into the round earth, the eggshell into heaven
and the underworld.
The Egyptian goose (Alopochen aegyptiaca) is a member of the duck, goose, and swan family Anatidae. It is native to Africa south of the Sahara and the Nile Valley.
Egyptian geese were considered sacred by the Ancient Egyptians, and appeared in much of their artwork.
The winged OSIRIS-REx and its heron-like TAGSAM also evoke attributes of Bennu, as does the egg shape of the asteroid itself."

The timing of the south pole 67P feature named after Geb was indeed interesting given SB 50 in the stadium of the San Jose Earthquakes! Moving on remember the original target for Rosetta was 46P which makes a close encounter in 2018!
Meaning 46P also features the same Geb/Osiris symbolism...

The site has also been used as a landing site for sample return in NASA's planetary science missions, including comet material in the Stardust mission and the upcoming OSIRIS-REx mission to return material from an asteroid.[3]
UTTR was also used as the landing site for the Genesis sample return.
