Feb 2010 deep impact:
The 2010 Chile earthquake (Spanish: Terremoto del 27F) occurred off the coast of central Chile on Saturday, 27 February at 03:34 local time (06:34 UTC), having a magnitude of 8.8 on the moment magnitude scale, with intense shaking lasting for about three minutes.[5][1][2][6] It was felt strongly in six Chilean regions (from Valparaíso in the north to Araucanía in the south), that together make up about 80 percent of the country's population. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) the cities experiencing the strongest shaking—VIII (Severe) on the Mercalli intensity scale (MM)—were ConcepciónArauco and Coronel. According to Chile's Seismological Service Concepción experienced the strongest shaking at MM IX (Violent).

The 2010 Copiapó mining accident, also known then as the "Chilean mining accident", began in the afternoon of Thursday, 5 August 2010 as a significant cave-in at the troubled 121-year-old San José copper–gold mine. The mine is located in the Atacama Desert about 45 kilometers (28 mi) north of the regional capital of Copiapó, in northern Chile.[1] The buried men, who became known as "Los 33" ("The 33"), were trapped 700 meters (2,300 ft) underground and about 5 kilometers (3 mi) from the mine's entrance via spiraling underground service ramps.

Comparison to Mars

In a region about 100 km (60 mi) south of Antofagasta, which averages 3,000 m (10,000 ft) in elevation, the soil has been compared to that of Mars. Owing to its otherworldly appearance, the Atacama has been used as a location for filming Mars scenes, most notably in the television series Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets.
In 2008, the Phoenix Mars Lander detected perchlorates on the surface of Mars at the same site where water was first discovered.[29] Perchlorates are also found in the Atacama and associated nitrate deposits have contained organics, leading to speculation that signs of life on Mars are not incompatible with perchlorates. The Atacama is also a testing site for the NASA-funded Earth-Mars Cave Detection Program.[30]

And the feb 27/28 Seattle "Mardi Gras/Ash Day quake! "Mars riot" and "fenix underground" twin-quake

The Seattle Mardi Gras riot occurred on February 27, 2001, when disturbances broke out in the Pioneer Square neighborhood during Mardi Gras celebrations in SeattleWashington.
On the day after the Mardi Gras riot, Seattle experienced the 6.8 Mw Nisqually earthquake, the worst in 37 years. Its scale caused people to refocus their attention on earthquake recovery and away from the violence. Outside the Seattle area, the incidents attracted little media attention and have largely been forgotten.
The 2001 Nisqually earthquake (also commonly referred to as "The Ash Wednesday earthquake") occurred at 10:54:32 local time on February 28.

Mars phoenix underground context:
Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) smashes particles together to recreate the incredible conditions that only existed at the dawn of time (video). The 2.4-mile underground atomic “racetrack” at RHIC produces fundamental insights about the laws underlying all visible matter.

2001 Nisqually earthquake (also commonly referred to as "The Ash Wednesday earthquake")
When a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Seattle and the Pacific Northwest area on February 28, 2001, damage was held to a minimum, thanks to a decade of earthquake preparation and a fault located deep inside the Earth.
The earthquake occurred on a fault located about 33 miles underground  - a fact that saved the region from intense damage. According to the U.S. Geological Survey’s hazards team, the temblor’s energy had to travel 30 miles in every direction from its point of origin before

The 33 (SpanishLos 33) is a 2015 English-language American-Chilean biographical disaster-survival drama film directed by Patricia Riggen and written by Mikko Alanne, Craig Borten, and José Rivera. The film is based on the real events of the 2010 mining disaster, in which a group of thirty-three miners were trapped inside the San José Mine in Chile for more than two months. The film stars Antonio Banderas as trapped miner Mario Sepúlveda.

The Fénix capsules were three metallic containers that were used for the rescue of 33 trapped miners after the 2010 Copiapó mining accident,[1] and are an enhanced version of the Dahlbusch Bomb. The capsules were constructed by Astilleros y Maestranzas de la Armada Chilena (ASMAR), (Shipyards and Arsenals of the Chilean Navy), who named it Fénix (Phoenix), after the legendary bird which consumed itself in fire and returned to life from the ashes.

Seattle is the "33 Fenix Underground" Birthquake:

The City of Seattle Pioneer Square Preservation District was created in 1970, although the original nomination was presented to the Seattle City Council in 1969 and rejected. The district, with slightly different boundaries, was also listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. Since then, there have been two subsequent boundary expansions, one in 1978 and one in 1988. All of the buildings in the district date from after the Great Fire of June 6, 1889, which reduced roughly 30 blocks or more of the original City of Seattle to ashes.
Buildings within the district date from four successive periods of significance. The first period of significance spans from right after the Great Fire of June 6, 1889 to 1899, during which Seattle’s commercial district, known as the “burnt district,” was rebuilt.
Within a month of the fire, eighty-eight buildings were either projected or already underway. The Seattle newspapers of 1889 took real delight in recounting the rebuilding of Seattle.
“There is a feature of the new life in Seattle which will not grow old and that is the work of building. The scene in the burnt district is gradually changing for the better and excavations and foundations for many new buildings are already under way… New announcements of proposed buildings continue to be made and they are always met with interest and pleasure by the general public."
“Rise Like a Phoenix” and “wings of the phoenix” were two typical references to Seattle’s rebirth.

    ....................

Seattle, founded along Elliott Bay in the mid-1800s, lost 33 blocks of buildings in the 1889 fire, and rebuilt with the red brick charm for which Pioneer Square is now known. Ironically, the area lost a number of the original rebuilds during the 1949 earthquake -- a 7.0 magnitude tremor that killed eight people."

Prior to the 2007 Blu-ray release of 2001 ASO, the TMA-1 map survey date wasn’t so easily discernible but, as the HD still included above clearly conveys, the TMA-1 discovery, which Dr. Halverson’s colleague indicates “started the whole thing,” dates to 021201 or, equivalently, 12 February 2001the very date the NEAR Shoemakerspacecraft, for the first time in human history, touched down upon the surface of an asteroid!

After Ceres, Asteroid 433 Eros is perhaps the most-commonly mentioned asteroid, probably because it is one of the largest near-Earth asteroids.
      • “Our Distant Cousins” (1929), short story by Lord Dunsany. An enterprising aviator flies to Mars, but ends up on Eros on his return trip due to a navigation error. Everything on Eros is tiny due to its small size and gravity; the aviator brings a tiny elephant back to Earth in a matchbox, but it escapes.[9]
      • Evolution (2003), novel by Stephen Baxter. Eros plays an important role in the future evolution of life on Earth. Millions of years after being perturbed into a new orbit, the asteroid collides with Earth, bringing about a mass extinction. The micrometeoroid-ravaged shell of NEAR Shoemaker still stands on the surface of Eros until seconds before the impact.

Miracle 'fenix' Underground and Deep Impact:
      Codelco logo.svg

NASA/Codelco both worked on the Fenix capsule together along with Deep Impact...
Codelco designed the impactor for nasa and nasa designed the fenix for coldelco!

Fenix underground owned by Codelco and designed by NASA:
After the state-owned mining company, Codelco, took over rescue efforts from the mine's owners, exploratory boreholes were drilled, and seventeen days after the accident a note was found taped to a drill bit pulled back to the surface:"Estamos bien en el refugio, los 33" (English: "We are well in the shelter, the 33 of us").

Deep Impact's projectile-impactor was designed by Codelco:

Cathodes from the Salvador division of Chile's state copper corporation Codelco are due to be shipped Thursday to Nasa to be used to make a projectile to crash into the comet Tempel 1, the company said.

Collectively this highlights the NASA NEAR mission and fenix seismic event with parallel symbolism between the 2001 and 2010 Seattle/Chile earthquakes...

also note the spelling "fenix" is a big underground clue, since the fenix looks like it is rising from the core....
