Update May 2017-
‘It’s just an incredibly one-of-a-kind thing’
The stadium originally was scheduled to open March 1, which was pushed back to June 1, then to July 30, then to Aug. 26 — a total of about six months in delays, all said to be related to roof steel work.
Demolition of the Georgia Dome, originally slated for July, has been put on hold as an “insurance policy” against further delays. Steve Cannon, CEO of Falcons parent company AMB Group, said it should be known in June when preparations for demolishing the Dome can resume.
Architect Bill Johnson said the circular opening in the roof was inspired by the Roman Pantheon ("Pantheon" was also the working name for the building design). The roof was designed to be made of a clear, lightweight polymer material that can adjust its opacity to control light, and much of the exterior will be clear polymer or glass to allow views to the outside. The middle concourse and upper bowl were eliminated in the east end zone to allow for an unobstructed view of the Atlanta skyline.

Atlanta pantheon is a depiction of a phoenix rising as horus:

As Above so below connects with the number 8 or the Octagon again in ancient geometry and paganism. This connection is made VIA "Squaring the Circle" its not only a mathematical phenomena but pagan symbol for Heaven and Earth. The square always symbolizing earth in many cultures, and the Circle being the Infinite Cosmos or universe. It also reflects the functions in nature described as the finite being the square and the infinite being symbolized as a circle. These functions have also been called Habit and Novelty, Yin and Yang, Jachim and Boaz, Left Brain and Right Brain, Moon and Sun, macrocosm and microcosm, Hunab Ku,Pheonix ressurrection etc.
Synchromystically this octagonal geometry from squaring the circle resembles a Pheonix with wings spread as well.
"Squaring the circle is a problem proposed by ancient geometers. It is the challenge to construct a square with the same area as a given circle by using only a finite number of steps with compass and straightedge. In 1882, the task was proven to be impossible, as a consequence of the fact that pi (π) is a transcendental, rather than algebraic irrational number; that is, it is not the root of any polynomial with rational coefficients..."

(Aug 26 update) Mercedes Benz Stadium will open at the end of July with a soccer match:
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is scheduled to host Super Bowl LIII in 2019. The stadium is scheduled to open on July 30, 2017, with an Atlanta United FC home match against Orlando City SC.

The launch of Osiris Rex connected to the Atlanta Falcons....
The launch was on 8 September 2016 at 23:05 UTC on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V 411 from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 41.[3] The 411 rocket configuration consists of a RD-180 powered first stage with a single AJ-60A solid fuel booster, and a Centaur upper stage.[18] OSIRIS-REx separated from the launch vehicle 55 minutes after ignition,[2] with a speed of 5.4 km/s (12,000 mph).[19] The launch was declared "exactly perfect" by the mission's Principal Investigator, with no anomalies worked before or during launch.

ATLANTA SELECTED TO HOST SUPER BOWL LIII
Super Bowl LIII, the 53rd Super Bowl and the 49th modern-era National Football League (NFL) championship game, will decide the league champion for the 2018 NFL season. The game will be played on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. This will be the third Super Bowl in Atlanta, having previously hosted Super Bowl XXVIII in 1994 and Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. The game is set to be televised nationally by CBS.
The month before NT7 passes the original "Rosetta/Osiris" target passes:
46P/Wirtanen is a small short-period comet with a current orbital period of 5.4 years. It was the original target for close investigation by the Rosetta spacecraft, planned by the European Space Agency, but an inability to meet the launch window led to Rosetta being sent to 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko instead.[3] It belongs to the Jupiter family of comets, all of which have aphelia between 5 and 6 AU. Its diameter is estimated at 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi).
Osiris was originally selected with Deep Impact 2:
On 16 December 2018 the comet will pass 0.0777 AU (11,620,000 km; 7,220,000 mi) (~30 LD) from Earth.[4]
(486958) 2014 MU69 (initially called PT1 and 1110113Y by the New Horizons and Hubble teams, respectively) is a classical Kuiper belt object. It is the target for the New Horizons probe for a flyby on 1 January 2019, after its Pluto flyby.[3]
Osiris was originally selected with Deep Impact 2:
NASA Announces Discovery Program Selections (Oct. 30, 2006)
- OSIRIS (Origins Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification and Security) was an asteroid observation and sample return mission concept selected in 2006 for further concept studies.[28] It was further matured and launched September 8, 2016 as OSIRIS-REx in the New Frontiers Program.[29
Hayabusa2 is an asteroid sample return mission operated by the Japanese space agency, JAXA. It follows on from Hayabusa and addresses weak points learned from that mission.[4]
The target is asteroid 162173 Ryugu (formerly designated 1999 JU3). Hayabusa 2 is expected to arrive at the target in July 2018, survey the asteroid for a year and a half, depart in December 2019, and return to Earth in December 2020.[7]
- The Deep Impact eXtended Investigation of Comets (DIXI) mission would use the existing Deep Impact spacecraft for an extended flyby mission to a second comet to take pictures of its nucleus to increase our understanding of the diversity of comets.
- (163249) 2002 GT is an Apollo asteroid with an absolute magnitude of 18.26.[1] It is a potentially hazardous asteroid as its orbit crosses that of Earth.[2]In 2011, NASA considered sending the unmanned spacecraft Deep Impact toward the asteroid with the aim of performing a flyby[2] in 2020. It was uncertain whether Deep Impact carried sufficient fuel for this operation.[2]On November 24, 2011 and October 4, 2012, the space probe's thrusters were fired briefly for two trajectory correction maneuvers that targeted Deep Impact for an encounter with 2002 GT in 2020, possibly within a distance of no more than 400 kilometers. However, funding for the flyby mission was not guaranteed.[3] In June 2013 the asteroid was observed in radar by the Arecibo Observatory.[4]
However, on August 8, 2013 NASA lost communication with the spacecraft, and on September 20, 2013, NASA abandoned further attempts to contact the craft.[5] According to A'Hearn,[6] the most probable reason of software malfunction was a Y2K-like problem (at 11 August 2013 0:38:49 it was 232 deciseconds from 1 January 2000[7]). Feb 2019 = symbolic NEO impact : - (89959) 2002 NT7 (also written (89959) 2002 NT7) is a near-Earth object (NEO) with a diameter of 1.2 miles[1] (2 kilometers) that became the first object observed by NASA's NEO program to be assigned a positive rating on the Palermo Technical Impact Hazard Scale, for a potential impact on February 1, 2019. Despite inflammatory press reports, the object had a "low probability" of impact, approximately one in a million.[1]Further observations of the object quickly re-rated the threat lower. As of July 25, 2002, the hazard rating on the Palermo scale had been lowered to -0.25. However, the discovery of an object with an initial Palermo hazard rating of 0.06[2] was a historical event for the NEO observation program.
