OSIRIS-REx is on the launch pad
The OSIRIS-REx mission passed its flight readiness review yesterday, clearing the way for the spacecraft to launch on Thursday, September 8. That news came out just before the catastrophic loss of a SpaceX rocket on a launch pad just 2 kilometers away, but NASA has assured the public that the aftermath of the Falcon 9 explosion has had no effect on OSIRIS-REx's continuing preparations.

OSIRIS (Origins Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification and Security) was an asteroid observation and sample return mission concept selected in 2006 for further concept studies.[28] It was further matured and launched September 8, 2016 as OSIRIS-REx in the New Frontiers Program.[29]
While you might think our immediate concern was the fires on the pad and their sources, my civil engineer representative informed me that during the explosion, the deluge system had been damaged and most of the water was being shot up into the air rather than being dispersed across the pad as designed. The SpaceX rep informed me that while the deluge wasn’t functioning optimally it was still helping to suppress the fire somewhat. That was fine except for one thing -- our 1.2 million gallon tank was being depleted at a rapid rate and there was no way to refill the tanks fast enough to sustain the output. If the tanks ran dry then the motors to the pumps would burn up, which would render the deluge system inoperable for other launch pads meaning our upcoming ULA launch might then be in danger.
OSIRIS-REx was already mounted on top of the two-stage Atlas 5 launcher at the time of the Falcon 9 explosion. Air ducts and electrical cables connected the spacecraft with ground supplies until liftoff.
Officials started to send a team to Complex 41 to repair the chillers, then Lindsey said he received word that all the pressures were lost.
“Technicians had to get to the spacecraft immediately,” he wrote.
Complex 41 sits on NASA property, just outside the limits of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station to the north of Complex 40. The Air Force coordinated with Kennedy Space Center officials to reach Complex 41 through their roadblocks and get to the pad without traveling near the fire still burning at the SpaceX launch facility, according to Lindsey.
The quick thinking allowed technicians to get to OSIRIS-REx in “plenty of time not to only save the spacecraft, but to keep the planned launch on schedule.”
Within two days of the explosion, OSIRIS-REx was back on track for its Sept. 8 launch date, according to Tory Bruno, ULA’s president and CEO.
“We were evacuated, so we had some schedule to make up, and we had to do some special cleaning,” Bruno said.The cleaning was a precaution to ensure smoke that blew north from the SpaceX explosion did not contaminate any sensitive parts of the rocket or the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft.
NASA formally suspended the Mars InSight mission. The lander was set to launch in March 2016 for a September 2016 touchdown.

In fact, the rescheduled launch not only synced InSight with the Falcon explosion, it means InSight will initiate the 2018 asteroid missions in 2018 around may 5, and arrive on Mars roughly 1 week after the Osiris Rex arrival is officially marked at Bennu:

The Asteroid Approach Phase will start in mid-August 2018 when Bennu will start growing in the spacecraft’s telescopic camera from just a speck of light. Major rendezvous burns will slow down the spacecraft for arrival in the vicinity of Bennu in November 2018 to initiate a year-long surveying phase during which the spacecraft will orbit the asteroid at different distances. Several rehearsals will be held before OSIRIS-REx will commit to a touch-and-go maneuver to hopefully collect up to two Kilograms of sample material from Bennu.
Arrival at Bennu will be marked around November 18, 2018 when OSIRIS-REx arrives at a distance of five Kilometers where the approach will be halted for a period of tandem flying at the 5km distance.
The new launch period for the mission begins May 5, 2018, with a Mars landing scheduled for Nov. 26, 2018.
